I'd always liked Crichton and thought he offered clever ideas - right on the edge of what was possible in science - but until I researched this post, I didn't know he had a medical degree. I'm surprised that someone didn't point out the dozens of physicians/scientists turned authors that I missed. Maybe I should in the future feature some of them. What do you think?J. L. I wish our society was more interested in science. These authors have found a way to reach audiences who otherwise would not give the subjects a second glance.

I agree, this is an interesting, intelligent post.Roxe Anne Peacockhttp://www.roxeannepeacock.comnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6975660612181993995.post-59561350294343375572013-02-20T06:32:12.673-08:002013-02-20T06:32:12.673-08:00Fascinating. Both of these sound great. They're on my list to read. Greger certainly has the background to write them. Back in the day, I remember how we faculty helped put together a children's hands-on science museum at our university. It was great being a part of the project and watching the kids get involved.Lesley Diehlhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/10552765934908042306noreply@blogger.com
